Lotus Arena

A world-class concert ground in Phuket

Samui, Krabi, Pattaya, Khao Lak, and Koh Phangan may each argue about which of them is Thailand’s best destination. Yet, no one disputes that the top New Year’s concerts take place in Bangkok and Phuket.

Bangkok has long been the music capital of the Kingdom, if not the region. However, the grand city’s reign may be challenged in 2025, as Phuket now has a new breathtaking open-air concert venue – Lotus Arena in Cherng Talay.

In a conversation with RL in late 2023, Alexander Nakhapetov of Art of Events shared his frustration with Phuket lacking a proper concert venue to host international stars. Now Alexander is ready to present Lotus Arena as his New Year gift to Phuket.

Having spent years continuously elevating the level of events on the island, the Russian visionary went further, raising the bar for what a concert venue could and should be.

Firstly, the arena is modular. Depending on the type of event, it can be set up for various capacities: 2,600 people or 7,000, with or without a fan zone, and with different configurations of seating, VIP areas, and general admission zones.

Secondly, the sound and lighting quality at Lotus Arena will be unmatched. Special attention has been given to the LED screens to ensure that every spectator can enjoy their favorite artist up close.

Thirdly, during concerts, Shaman will transform into a private VIP lounge, offering guests the chance to enjoy world-class cuisine while listening to the best music. Shaman will also serve as the ideal venue for pre-parties and after-parties.

Parking will not be an issue at Lotus Arena, a common problem in Patong. How many concerts have we missed due to parking troubles? The January schedule at Lotus Arena is packed with top shows, and you won’t want to miss a single event.

The arena will be introduced to the public at the New Year’s Gala Dinner, where guests will enjoy performances by Chelsea, Margarita Sukhankina, and Alena Apina.

On January 4, Diana Arbenina and the Night Snipers will take the stage, followed by Sergey Shnurov and Leningrad on January 6.

January 11 will showcase the stellar vocals of Grigory Leps, while on January 16 guests will be stunned by Delfin. The schedule for February and the coming months is kept in secret, so remember to check out ArtEventsPhuket.com for new show.

The Lotus Arena is a permanent venue with Art of Events in charge of the content, so you can rightly expect global stars to perform in Phuket.
