Phuket developer on a quest for a perfect residential oasis
Hardly any expat in Thailand has not dreamed of building their own home. This vision captivated Dmitry Solovyev, a seasoned developer with 17 years of experience and over 250,000 square meters of completed projects.
Studying Phuket’s residential communities both as a builder and a resident, Dmitry came to the conclusion that he should create rather than choose. Thus, a journey to a personal Oasis began.
“Oasis. Architecture for Life.” That became the name and the slogan for a crafted neighborhood where Dmitry’s own family will reside alongside 25 other fortunate homeowners. Situated near Bang Tao Beach, the development offers serene hillside views while maintaining convenient access to beach clubs.
“What is an oasis? Most people imagine a desert with a lush green haven and a clear spring. But fundamentally, an oasis is a place that stands in stark contrast to its surroundings. In Antarctica, for instance, it’s a patch of land free from ice and snow. Interestingly, in an ancient Egyptian dialect, the word ‘oasis’ simply meant a place to live. I loved the idea of creating a place for living, different from the surroundings. That’s how our Oasis was born,” Dmitry says.
“This level of detail and precision is something we’ve never achieved before, even with 17 years of experience.”
The development will feature 26 two-story villas, each with four bedrooms, private pools, and meticulously designed outdoor spaces. Dmitry and his wife, Nadezhda, are pouring their years of Phuket living into the project, ensuring no detail is overlooked. Offered in the “Absolute” package, the villas will come fully equipped with all appliances and household essentials, including even tableware.
“This level of detail and precision is something we’ve never achieved before, even with 17 years of experience,” admits Nadezhda.
When asked what sets Oasis apart, Nadezhda highlights four key aspects:
«Architecture: the villas boast a unique style combined with ergonomic design.
Complete furnishing: each home is fully outfitted, down to the slippers.
Quality: only the finest materials and solutions have been selected, including smart home systems, all overseen by an in-house quality control team.
Payment options: Oasis is the only developer running its own payment service, allowing transactions in any preferred currency.”
The Solovyevs have lived on the island for many years, a fact evident in their curated map of Bang Tao’s beloved local spots: Project Artisan and Smokaccia restaurants, the Kedr sauna, and the Wine Pro store.
Years of island living have also inspired their attention to outdoor spaces. In Phuket, where much of life unfolds outside, a villa’s exterior must be as inviting as its interior. The ideal? A seamless flow between indoor and outdoor areas, a hallmark of the Oasis design.
“We also focused heavily on lighting. From accentuating plants to highlighting architectural features, the evening ambiance will be mesmerizing. Every leaf will be a picture to enjoy,” Nadezhda adds.
The villas will captivate during the day as well. Departing from Phuket’s standard palette of white tones and minimalist design, Oasis embraces an African/Mediterranean style, reflecting its name and essence.
At the time of writing, villas in Oasis are still available for reservation. However, with only 26 homes in the community, availability is limited. To learn more, scan the QR code or follow the provided link.
